This sign-on bonus is good for all company drivers and owner operators who complete orientation on or before 2/2/07.

Barr-Nunn now has NO HAZMAT driving options available for all Over-the-Road, Regional and Hometime Fleet positions.

We have positions available for Company Drivers living in Orlando, Tampa and all area North. These positions offer weekend hometime and run ONLY in the SE (FL, GA, SC, NC, TN, AL & MS). We have opportunities available both with and without a hazmat endorsement.

Announcements:

Barr-Nunn has added PrePass Plus to the long list of benefits we provide our drivers. PrePass Plus will replace our E-ZPass transponders and allow our drivers the opportunity to bi-pass scales AND pay their tolls electronically. We are providing this free of charge to all current company drivers and owner operators. It will be free to all new company drivers, and will only cost new owner operators $3.25/wk for the first 6-months with Barr-Nunn...after 6-months we will pay 100% of this cost for them as well.

Owner Operators

  • NEW $.87/$1.87 Power Pay for Independent Contractors. Barr-Nunn Owner Operators now earn between $.87 and $1.87 per mile for all dispatched miles (loaded and empty).
  • Owner Operators earn a $600 Appreciation Bonus every 60,000 miles they drive while leased to Barr-Nunn Transportation.

Company Driver Pay Package OTR Company Driver Pay

  • $0.40 1 - 6 yrs experience
  • $0.41 7+ yrs experience
  • Plus $.02 cpm 401K contribution
  • $.44/$.88 Power Pay for Company Drivers. Barr-Nunn Company Drivers can earn between $.44 and $.88 per mile for all dispatched miles (loaded and empty).

Regional Company Driver Pay

  • $0.36 1 - 4 yrs experience, $.40 for NE Regional
  • $0.37 5 + yrs experience, $.41 for NE Regional

Company Band Pay/Short Haul Pay

  • 0 - 100 $0.88 per mile
  • 101-200 miles = Current Pay Rate + $0.10
  • 201-300 miles = Current Pay Rate + $0.04
  • 301-400 miles = Current Pay Rate + $0.03
  • 401-550 miles = Current Pay Rate + $0.02

Owner Operator Band Pay/Short Haul Pay

  • 1-100 miles = Current Pay Rate + $1.00
  • 101-200 miles = Current Pay Rate + $0.30
  • 201-300 miles = Current Pay Rate + $0.15
  • 301-400 miles = Base plus $0.10 per Practical Mile
  • 401-550 miles = Current Pay Rate + $0.05
  • 551-1000 miles = Current Pay Rate + $0.02

Teams Welcome!

  • 1/2 base pay + .025 cpm premium for each driver

Safety & Longevity pay increases...

  • Safety .005 cpm increase solos for every 60,000 safe miles until driver reaches designated cap
  • Teams .0025/60,000 safe miles until driver reaches designated cap
  • Longevity .005 cpm increase solos for every 120,000 until driver reaches designated cap
  • Teams .0025/120,000 miles until driver reaches designated cap

Sign-On Bonus:

Vacation Pay Schedule:

  • Solos Teams (Each Driver)
  • 120,000 1 week 240,000 1 week
  • 240,000 1 week 480,000 1 week
  • 360,000 *2 weeks 720,000 *2 weeks
* Until approximately 10 years. Will earn 3 weeks after 1,200,000 miles.
Note: Vacation pay is paid as an average of weekly pay based on prior 52 weeks.

Zero Down Tractor Purchase Program

  • No Money Down
  • Up to $3500 for first time truck buyers
  • $1.24 per gallon diesel fuel guaranteed good for all Owner Operators leased to Barr-Nunn thru 6/30/07.

Additional Pay Info:

  • $600 appreciation bonus paid to all company drivers every 60,000 miles. (Salary drivers receive a $600 bonus once annually instead)
  • NYC - $100
  • Detention - $10 hr solo $15 hr team after 2 hours up to 10 hrs, Effective 1/18/04
  • Layover - $60 solo 24hr period & $40 team split for every 12 hr period
  • Stops - <3 $20/stop > 3 stops $30/stop, teams $40/stop split Effective 3/29/04
  • Loading - $60

Additional Benefit Info:

  • Life Ins - $5000 no supplemental available through BN
  • Health - $22.50/ wk for Single, $51.50 / wk for Employee + 1, and $69.50 / wk for Family
  • Dental - $2.25/wk for single, $8.00/wk for Employee + 1 & for Family
  • New Vision Plan - $23.50 per year for great vision savings!

General Information:

  • $600 Appreciation Bonus every 60,000 miles.

The 1st 3 teams hired in 2007 will receive a Carrier Comfort Pro APU on their truck.
These APU's will allow the drivers to do the following:

  • 110 Volts-30 amps - run a microwave, refrigerator, etc
  • Ability to heat and cool without idling
  • Autostart feature and timers to allow you to heat and cool the cab before entering
  • Block Heater
  • Charges Batteries while in use
